Frequently Asked Questions
What do you need to provide me with a quote?
A 3D CAD model.
The standard file format for 3D printing is called STL. This is a standard output from all CAD packages and 3D scanning software. Step files (.STP) are also ideal for providing quotes as they can be easier used between CAD packages. We can work with other formats but these two are the best in our experience.

What if I don't have a CAD file?
We can CAD model your idea from basic drawings, photos, sketches or crayon scribbles on napkins! Get in touch to find out what the cost of creating a CAD model of your idea will be.
Can you provide a rough estimate?
We quote based on the time and materials used in the 3D printing process. This means that we require a CAD model before we can provide a full quotation. Ball park estimates are, in our experience, so inaccurate that they aren't of much use at all. This is because there are so many variables with any 3D printing process that can affect the final cost.
Are you able to work under a non disclosure agreement?
We are only too happy to sign any non disclosure agreements.
What payment methods do you accept?
Our preferred payment method is bank transfer. We can also accept payment via paypal or all major cards over the phone.
I'm not sure if 3D printing is right for my project?
Please get in touch! We are only too happy to discuss whether 3D printing would be right for your requirements. We don't believe in the hard sell and if 3D print won't be right for you then we will let you know.
