Operational Update - 2nd April 2020

2/4/2020

We are still 100% active and able to manufacture your 3D printed parts so please don't hesitate to get in touch.  We are in constant discussions with our suppliers and where delays are likely with materials we are stocking up on those materials so that they available as far as is reasonably possible.

In the past days we have had a number of requests for 3D printed parts for medical purposes.  We are only too happy to take these jobs on board and can place a priority on manufacturing them.  However, we need to be made aware that the parts are for medical purposes otherwise they will be placed in our production queue at the back.  We look at hundreds of parts each week and it's not always obvious to us when parts are for medical purposes so please bring this to our attention when requesting a quote.

Operational update - March 15th 2020

15/3/2020

I'd like to start this post by saying that we are 100% operational and fully available to manufacture your models to the same high standard we always have done.  The corona virus however poses a number of potential operational issues for all businesses.  Going forward we are enacting a series of new company proceedures.  These will be effective immediately and remain in place until further notice.
  1. All orders without exception will be delivered by courier or postal service.  We will no longer allow any in person collections
  2. Any parts that are required to be modelled or scanned must be sent via courier or postal service.  Again, no deliveries in person
  3. We will not be attending meetings in person.  We are of course only too happy to discuss your project over the phone or hold a video meeting via skype or other service.

These measures are designed to project both our staff and you from the spread of the Corona virus as far as possible while retaining the high quality 3D printing service that we have become known for.

With regards to our supply chain we are in constant discussions with our suppliers to ensure that we have materials available when required.  We have also invested a large amount of money into a larger stock of materials on site to allow us to weather any disruptions that may occur.  If we are likely to have any issues with material availability for your project this will be discussed as soon as we are made aware of the situation.

In closing this post, we would like to wish all our clients the best of health.  If you wish to discuss anything raised in this post then please don't hesitate to get in touch.
